Why You Need an Assessment

Airfield markings need to be compliant and properly maintained, in a timely fashion, in order to ensure the utmost safety on your airfield. However, standards (FAA, ICAO, etc.) for marking maintenance are not currently defined, making it virtually impossible for airports to determine compliance and what to prescribe. As a result, airports routinely paint all of their markings, typically right before an inspection, whether they need maintenance or not, often wasting valuable time and money.
