Greetings from Sightline!
Sightline is a team of Airfield Marking Consultants. We don't paint; instead we are marking experts, working with the industry to improve marking systems worldwide.
The purpose of this seasonal publication, if it is new to you, is to inform about issues regarding airport markings. Thanks to all of you who subscribed through our website at sightline.us.
The 17-year cicada brood ripped through the Mid-Atlantic that saw six weeks of seemingly mindless creatures screaming and mating; it was like a season of Big Brother. Their existence still confounds/annoys us. In other news, we have completed two of four Airfield Marking Symposiums as this issue goes to press, leaving Minneapolis and Orlando to round out the 2013 campaign. Check out those upcoming workshops, below.
Where we will be:
- AAAE NEC Annual, August 17-21, Pittsburgh, PA
- SWIFT Conference, September 9-12, Ottawa, Ontario
- Minneapolis AMS, September 24-26, hosted by MSP
- Orlando AMS, November 5-7, hosted by MCO
